With Summer approaching, now is the perfect time to pop into one of Wyndham's five libraries or the Williams Landing Library Lounge and borrow some books for you and the family to read over the holiday season.
The BIG Summer Read challenge is for beginners up until the age of 18 and runs until 31 January 2023. Young readers are encouraged to Join, Borrow, Read and Win and go into the draw to win some great prizes including a Zoos Victoria adult pass, Museums Victoria family pass and Readings Bookstore gift vouchers!
The Young Adult Summer Book Binge is now open for young people aged 12+.
Get reading for your chance to win some amazing prizes. Just complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line on the book binge card to be entered into the prize draw. The prize pool includes new release Young Adult books and $100 Robinsons book voucher!
Adults can enjoy some great reads this Summer with their very own personalised reading list. Simply fill out a short form on the Library website to tell us about your reading interests. Librarians will choose 4 books we think you will love and reserve them for you. All you need to do is collect them from your local library, find your favourite reading spot, and enjoy!
For our younger residents starting their learning journey, there is a wide range of resources available to support early literacy and numeracy. As well as a wide range of interesting and entertaining children's books to engage young readers from picture books to fairy tales to comic books and action-adventure titles.
Wyndham City libraries can support your child to enjoy reading by providing books to suit all reading levels.
Our extensive collection includes books, magazines, audiobooks, eBooks, comics, streaming content such as films, TV, music and more. Whether you prefer to borrow in-branch or online, there's something to interest even the fussiest reader!
Best of all, it's free to join and borrow! If you aren't already a member, you can sign up online or visit one of the five library branches.
No one is too young to join- even a newborn can have a library card! Membership options and collections cater for all ages.
