BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park NSW Tourism Awards Finalist

Family owned and operated, BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park, has once again been nominated as a NSW Tourism Awards Finalist.

This isn't the first award ceremony park owners Frank and Lynda White have attended. With more than eleven awards proudly on display at the holiday park and in 2017, achieving Hall of Fame status at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards for winning the Gold award three years in a row - the first holiday park ever to do so - the trophy's on display are a testament to the hard work they have put into developing the park over the past 20 years.

"It's been five years now since we have been able to re-enter the NSW Tourism Awards. After becoming State level Hall of Fame inductees, we also achieved Hall of Fame nationally at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in 2017. This is something that has never been achieved by a caravan park before, so it was certainly a huge feather in not only our cap but also for Deniliquin as a destination to be known as the home of Australia's best caravan park. Once you achieve Hall of Fame status, there is a period of time whereby you aren't able to enter the awards and so we've not been through the intensive submission process these past few years" commented Frank White, owner/operator of BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park.

Now in it's 32nd year, the NSW Tourism Awards Tourism Awards are the tourism industry's premier awards program recognizing outstanding tourism achievements by operators who lead the industry by creating outstanding products and services, generating growth and jobs in an industry that contributes to the local, regional and national economy.

"We could easily have retired our award submission writing and said 'job done' when we were inducted into the national Hall of Fame but in the past few years since that phenomenal achievement and even despite the challenges a worldwide pandemic presented, we have continued to invest and improve our park facilities adding new cabins, glamping tents, a BMX pump track, a second pontoon boat, new recreation areas, outdoor movies and soon installation will commence on a brand new flying fox and adventure playground space. We're proud of our team, our park and our town and with so many improvements and additions to the park, we didn't wish to miss the opportunity to enter the awards once more."

Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner to be held at Luna Park Sydney on Thursday 17 November 2022. Relevant category winners will go on to represent NSW at the Australian Tourism Awards to be held in early 2023.
