Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a cane fire burning near Davidson Road, Bilyana. This fire broke out around 1.30pm. Firefighters are working to contain the fire which is producing large volumes of smoke that may affect the area, including the Bruce Highway and Euramo. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. Residents should close windows and doors, and keep their respiratory medications close by if required.
