Speak with Council staff and the Halve Waste team and learn how to sort food and garden waste, recycling and general waste correctly.
Your first collection is Wednesday, 7 October 2026
Place your food and garden waste bin and general waste bin out the night before. Please do not fill or present the new bins before this collection. Leave at least one metre between bins and other objects. Cleanaway will empty bins on your area's designated collection day.
Eligible households are properties currently receiving a Council kerbside general waste collection service and included in the rollout area.
