Bindoon Serious Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Bindoon today, Sunday 9 April 2023.
About 10.20am, a Kenworth road train was being driven north on Great Northern Highway. At the same time a Kenworth tow truck was also being driven on the same road, in the same direction. The two vehicles collided with each other.
The Kenworth tow truck received significant damage in the crash. The 28-year-old male driver and his 61-year-old female passenger were flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter. The female passenger is believed to have critical injuries.
The driver of the Kenworth road train was not injured in the crash.
