The National Rugby League (NRL) has announced a blockbuster weekend of Preliminary Finals, featuring four Grand Final qualifiers across the NRL and NRLW competitions from Friday through to Sunday.
The NRL has confirmed a return for Sunday afternoon Preliminary Finals - with a double-header to be staged involving Brisbane Broncos' NRL and NRLW teams on Sunday, September 28.
The Preliminary Finals weekend will begin in Melbourne on Friday, September 26, with the clash between Melbourne Storm and the winner of this Saturday night's match between Minor Premiers Canberra Raiders and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
On Saturday night, NRLW Minor Premiers Sydney Roosters will play the winner of the North Queensland Cowboys-Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks match at Polytec Stadium (Gosford).
And then on Sunday, Suncorp Stadium will be the venue for the biggest afternoon of Preliminary Finals staged in Brisbane - the Broncos' NRLW team plays the winner of Newcastle Knights and Gold Coast Titans, followed by the Broncos NRL team facing off with the winner of the match between Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers for the final spot in the Grand Final.
All matches in Week Three of the NRL Telstra Premiership 2025 Finals Series will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, Fox League, Kayo Sports, 9NOW and Sky NZ.
