Kiama Council has received requests from the community to extend its exhibition period for the Planning Proposal to reclassify the land on which Blue Haven Bonaira is located.
While Council has complied with all of the requirements set for us by the Department of Planning and Environment, we acknowledge the strong community interest in this proposal. With that in mind, Council has extended the exhibition period from the required 20 days, to allow an additional eight days for community comment. This is in line with the requests we have received from the community.
The proposal will now be publicly exhibited to until 11 April 2023. A further 21 days (minimum) will then be provided for the public to prepare for the Public Hearing.
