Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Braemar Gallery and Blue Mountains City of Arts Trust welcome new committee members

Blue Mountains City Council is delighted to announce the appointment of two Blue Mountains based artists, Catherine O'Donnell and Paul Mosig, to positions on the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Advisory Committee.

Members of the Advisory Committee provide advice and guidance to the management of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre and also promote the activities of the Centre to the wider community.

Both Catherine and Paul bring a wealth of artistic and professional experience to these roles.

Catherine is a practicing visual artist with 15 years of experience. With acumen in arts teaching at the National Art School Sydney and Nepean TAFE, together with a long international exhibition history, she has an in depth knowledge of the contemporary visual art sector and arts partnership opportunities within Western Sydney.

Similarly, Paul is a practicing Blue Mountains based contemporary installation artist with over 15 years of experience. Co-founder of the design studio 'Racket', Paul has worked with arts organisations both large and small to develop and design business identities to facilitate sustainable growth.

The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre would like to thank the outgoing Advisory Committee members, Tony Bond and Leo Robba for their substantial contribution to the Centre over the past two years.

The appointment of Tobin O'Bree and the re-appointments of Jude Skeers and Annette Coulter to the Braemar Gallery Management Committee have also been announced.

The Braemar Gallery Management Committee provides a valuable service to the Arts community of the Blue Mountains by coordinating the Braemar Gallery exhibition spaces, exhibition program and volunteer invigilators.

The Committee looks forward to welcoming Tobin O'Bree to the group extensive and utilising his extensive skills and experience in managing community gallery spaces.

Blue Mountains City Council also welcomes the appointments of Melissa Cannon, Michael Daly, Mark O'Flynn and Kimberley Webber as community representatives to the Blue Mountains City of the Arts Trust Advisory Committee for the next 3 years.

Council acknowledges the important contribution the outgoing Blue Mountains City of the Arts Trust Advisory Committee members, Julie Ankers, Jenny Day, Alex Gooding and Peter O'Neill have made to the Blue Mountains City of the Arts Trust over the past few years.
