Partnership underpins blueAPACHE's re-engineering of managed services for an AI-driven world.

MELBOURNE, Australia, 24 August, 2026: blueAPACHE, Australia's most awarded mid-market IT services provider, has announced a strategic partnership with ControlUp, a company reinventing IT operations with its AI platform, embedding the ControlUp ONE platform into blueAPACHE's managed services and also launching it as a standalone reseller offering for mid-market organisations across the region. The partnership reflects a broader shift in managed services, from reactive support towards proactive, autonomous operations built around real-time visibility and agentic AI--driven remediation. Customer expectations of what a managed services provider should deliver are changing quickly, and blueAPACHE is investing in the technology needed to meet them.

blueAPACHE is now ControlUp's strategic delivery partner in the region, pairing the vendor's DEX telemetry and AI-driven automations platform with blueAPACHE's managed services expertise to raise the bar on monitoring and support for mid-market and enterprise customers. The partnership goes beyond a traditional reseller arrangement, embedding ControlUp ONE into how blueAPACHE designs, delivers and supports managed services, not simply distributing the technology. Together, the two companies are pushing managed services toward AEM at scale, giving organisations real-time visibility into the experience of every user, on every device.

ControlUp ONE is one of the technologies blueAPACHE is embedding into its managed services re-engineered strategy, reflecting how far the definition of managed services has moved beyond monitoring and patching, as blueAPACHE CEO Michael Zuppa explains: "This is about being able to visually present value back to customers in a way that is meaningful to them. Customers no longer simply want incidents resolved. They want problems detected and, wherever possible, fixed before they are even aware there was one.

"We are lifting managed services to an even higher standard beyond just monitoring, with capabilities that are contextual and centred on the actual experience, application performance and device health of every user, not just incidents and patch management. This is what customers should expect from their managed services partner," he continues.

"blueAPACHE is exactly the type of partner we need in this region," said Bob Johnson, SVP Global Partners and Alliances, ControlUp. "They understand what it takes to deliver managed services at scale, and they have the technical depth to embed our platform properly rather than just resell it. Managed services are moving quickly from reactive support to proactive, AI-driven endpoint management, and we are seeing demand for managed extended experience grow quickly across the mid-market. Partners and alliances are how we meet that demand. blueAPACHE is a strong partner to build that capability here."

Through the partnership, blueAPACHE's service desk gains real-time telemetry on the devices and applications customers are using, allowing agents to see a user's experience history the moment they call in, including performance trends, device health and prior incidents, before a ticket is even raised. The platform also allows issues to be self-detected and remediated automatically, reducing the number of incidents that require manual intervention and improving time to resolution, moving managed services further towards proactive, autonomous operations, rather than reactive support.

For customers with their own in-house IT teams, blueAPACHE is also offering ControlUp ONE as a standalone reseller solution, extending into patch management and application layer management alongside endpoint monitoring and automation. blueAPACHE runs ControlUp ONE across its own environment first, acting as customer zero so that every feature reaching customers has already been tested and refined through blueAPACHE's own day-to-day experience.

blueAPACHE selected ControlUp in part because of its strength in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), an area where blueAPACHE has deep experience through partners including Citrix and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, and because of ControlUp's push into endpoint technology and managed services as a category. The two companies described the arrangement as a mutual investment, with blueAPACHE contributing its expertise in integrating and operating the technology at scale.

As customer expectations of managed services continue to rise, the partnership underpins blueAPACHE's managed services re-engineered offering, which the company is progressively rolling out to customers across Australia.
