Police have located the body of a man reported missing from the state's north-west.
The 31-year-old man was last seen in Narrabri about 10.30pm on Wednesday 7 July 2021.
Officers from Oxley Police District were notified of his disappearance the following day (Thursday 8 July 2021) and commenced inquiries; the man's vehicle was located near Narrabri Creek on Friday 9 July 2021.
Following further extensive searches, the man's body was discovered in waters near the Namoi River this morning (Friday 23 July 2021).
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
