Police are appealing for information following the discovery of a woman’s body in the water on the state’s Central Coast today.
About 10.30am this morning, today, emergency services were called to Snapper Point following the discovery of a body face down inside the blow hole.
On arrival, officers with the assistance from Westpac Rescue Helicopter recovered the body of the woman.
Police attached to Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
The woman has not been identified.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
