Police are appealing to the public for assistance to identify a person that may be able to assist ongoing investigations into a break and enter in Nambour on 7 August.
Around 4.45am, two people allegedly forced entry into a venue on Currie Street and stole a large safe, reportedly holding a quantity of cash.
The people allegedly moved the safe into a black Volkswagen Golf, with stolen number plates, before leaving the scene in that car.
A 33-year-old Palmview man has been charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and face masked with intent commit indictable offence.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 8 September.
Detectives are working to identify a second person that may assist investigations and are appealing to anyone who recognises the person pictured, or has information about the incident, to contact police.
The person was wearing a black zip up hoodie with a logo on the right side of the chest, dark pants, black shoes, black or grey gloves, and a blue face covering.
Investigations are ongoing.
