Break And Enter Charges, Currajong

Police have charged four men following an incident in Currajong on Sunday, 23 August.

It will be alleged around 1.45pm, the men forced entry to a Hammett Street property.

It is further alleged one of the men assaulted one of the occupants, a 31-year-old man.

He did not require medical treatment.

Officers arrived and allegedly located all four men inside the home.

A 23-year-old Roseneath man, a 30-year-old Pallarenda man, a 38-year-old Nome man, and a 44-year-old Jensen man were each charged with one count of enter dwelling and commit.

All four men were refused police bail.

The 23-year-old man, the 30-year-old man and the 38-year-old man are all due to reappear in the Townsville Magistrates Court today, 25 August.

The 44-year-old Jensen man is expected to reappear in Townsville Magistrates Court on 15 September.

Investigations are ongoing.
