Break-in at Mile End, South Australia

Police are investigating a break-in at Mile End overnight.

About 2.50am on Monday 8 August, a man and woman wearing balaclavas and armed with a baseball forced their way into a home in Cuming Street, Mile End and assaulted the two occupants.

The intruders stole a mobile phone and left on foot.

A 35-year-old woman received facial injuries but did not go to hospital. A 20-year-old man also received injuries but declined treatment.

Police searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Judge but did not locate the suspects.

The investigation is in its early stages but it not thought to be a random incident.
