Break-in at Westbourne Park, South Australia

Southern District Police are seeking information from the public after sunglasses were stolen during a break-in at a business premises at Westbourne Park overnight.

Just before 3.30am on Monday 6 April, police patrols were called to an Optometrist business on Goodwood Road, following alarm activations inside the premises.

On arrival, patrols discovered a front glass panel had been removed front the front door and numerous pairs of sunglasses had been stolen from a display inside.

Police patrols including a police dog patrol searched the area, but the suspect, only described as wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and carrying a backpack wasn't located.

The sunglasses stolen included several pairs of 'Mako' brand.

Anyone with information on the break-in including persons or vehicles seen on Goodwood Road at the time of the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
