Bayside Council will undertake remediation work at Brighton Pavilion to rectify waterproofing and undertake concrete cancer issues.
The proposed works at the Brighton Pavilion will be delivered through a staged program, recognising existing approvals, procurement requirements and the need to coordinate multiple project streams.
Terrace waterproofing works will address waterproofing issues and help prevent further water damage.
Concrete cancer remediation work will address concrete deterioration and help protect the structural integrity of the building.
Council will also undertake essential building works to address fire compliance, safety and accessibility requirements in the former Le Sands restaurant to prepare the space for re-lease.
Council has approved a tender from Boylson Pty Ltd for the waterproofing and concrete cancer remediation work.
