Brimbank supports Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.

The good news is anyone can get involved in plastic free July. You can start out small, or really challenge yourself!

As a part of the Environment Education Calendar 2019, Brimbank City Council will be supporting Plastic Free July, by running a presentation called Plastic Free Future.

Come and spend a morning with Erin Rhoads– the 'Rouge Ginger' and share her journey to shopping and living without plastic. Learn from the best about some of the tips and tricks to lead an earth healthy, plastic free lifestyle.

The presentation will also discuss how residents can reduce their single-use plastics, learn tips for shopping plastic free and reducing their everyday waste.

Will you be part of Plastic Free July by choosing to refuse single-use plastics?
