Motorists who travel on the Brindabella Road will benefit from an additional Australian Government commitment of $20 million for safety upgrades.
This is on top of the $17.4 million confirmed in the October 2022-23 Budget, bringing the total Australian Government commitment to $37.4 million.
The project will deliver vital upgrades on priority sections of the Brindabella Road, from the Brindabella Valley to the ACT border.
This project will improve road safety for all road users, as well as improving travel times and supporting tourism.
At the October 2022-23 Budget, the Australian Government confirmed almost $1.4 billion for vital land transport infrastructure projects in NSW to improve safety and reduce travel times.
