Brisbane Landscape Supplier breaks own record to achieve a 7th Gold Award in 2018.

Centenary Landscaping Supplies has been voted Landscape Supplier of the year by the Landscape Queensland Industry Association and its members, breaking their own record. This latest win brings their tally to 7 Gold and 1 Silver award over the past 9-years.

Brisbane's glitzy Hilton Hotel once again played host to the Landscaping Industries night of nights, the Landscape Queensland Construction Excellence Awards for 2018. The Grand Ballroom reached capacity as a record 530 guests were welcomed and thanked by LQ President Dave Taylor who also introduced the evening's theme of "Landscaping Makes The Difference".

The annual gala dinner brings together landscaping professionals both big and small from across the state to celebrate the achievements of their peers. The event showcases some of the best examples of the built environment and a panel of expert judges are given the hard task of selecting the best of the best across both the residential and commercial sectors.

The top award for construction of the year in both residential and commercial went to Outdoor Secrets of Brisbane and Naturelink Landscapes & Design from the Gold Coast respectively.

Centenary Landscaping Supplies, based in Darra and servicing the greater Brisbane region, has been a member of the association for over 30-years and has a reputation for quality materials, customer focused service and competitive pricing. The more recent establishment of a transport division known as Connect Truckers has enhanced their service offering and has further cemented their position as supplier of choice throughout the industry.

Unlike the other awards presented throughout the evening the supplier of the year is voted on by the members themselves. "Each year we come along to the event with high hopes but never expect to take away the Gold. The trade team and the guys at Connect Truckers work tirelessly throughout the year and are thoroughly deserving of the accolades. We are so grateful for the ongoing support from our fantastic customers" said James McCullough, the Groups Sales and Marketing Manager.

The silver award was won by Reece Irrigation and Bronze by David Patterson from Brisbane Turf Traders.

The team at Centenary Landscaping Supplies credits their ongoing success to continued innovation and advancement of their service offering. In 2018, after two years of research and development, Centenary Landscaping Supplies revolutionised the landscaping soil industry with its new product line UltraGrow; a boutique range of soils manufactured from only the highest quality, waste-free and nutrient rich ingredients.

Centenary Landscaping Supplies CEO Conor O'Shea said with current Australian standards for decent soil production still being ignored, it is time for an organisation to step up and start providing a superior range of products.

"We, at Centenary Landscaping, have always cared about the soil quality and for the last 30 years have worked hard to provide consistency and high quality products and service to our clients, but have been hampered by manufactures who are reliant on waste" Mr O'Shea said. "That commitment is now tangible in our new product – UltraGrow – formulated with carefully selected ingredients to give plants the nurturing environment they need for healthy and sustained growth."
