A 17-year-old Clermont boy has passed away in hospital this afternoon, 21 September, following a serious traffic crash in Isaac.
Emergency services were called to Peak Downs Highway at Blue Mountain at 6.45am following reports a Toyota Hilux utility had collided with an Isuzu Pantechnicon truck.
The 17-year-old boy, the sole occupant of the ute, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck, a man in his 20s, was also transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
