Brown Advisory Opens Office in Singapore

Brown Advisory --a global, employee-owned investment firm offering a wide range of solutions to individuals, families, charities and institutions--is pleased to announce that it has established a permanent presence in Singapore. Walter Beckett, a sales director who has been based in Brown Advisory's London office since 2015, has relocated to Singapore as Head of Asia Pacific to lead the expansion of the business in the region.

Brown Advisory has marketed its funds in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region for many years and manages more than $700 million in assets for APAC-based clients. The new office in Singapore will enable the firm to serve these clients more effectively. The move will also further enhance Brown Advisory's global perspective and adds value to the firm's investment research, advisory and service capabilities for Brown Advisory clients across the globe.

Logie Fitzwilliams, Head of International Business for Brown Advisory, says, "We are extremely excited to announce the opening of the Singapore office. With strong and proven long-term track records across our range of actively managed, concentrated equity funds, we are confident that having a local presence will help us better serve our clients and build new relationships within the market."

Walter Beckett says, "We look forward to building long-term partnerships with clients in Asia, in the same way that Brown Advisory has done globally for the last 25 years."
