Brunswick bicycle bandits

Police are investigating following the theft of a bicycle in Brunswick last month.

Investigators have been told a man was using the bike to deliver food when he left it in a laneway in a Barkly Street shopping centre about 10.40pm on 13 May.

While the man was delivering the order, two unknown offenders observed the unchained blue Giant 'Talon' mountain bike before one of them hopped on and cycled away.

Both men left the area towards Weston Street.

Investigators have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Both offenders were perceived to be Mediterranean or Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in their late teens or early 20s.

Anyone with information or who recognises the pair is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
