Build Your Skills: Port Adelaide Enfield 24 February

These adult education programs provide a friendly, welcoming environment based at libraries and community centres across the Cities of Salisbury, Port Adelaide Enfield and Playford.

The nine-week courses are designed to help people improve their English skills. They also support students with service referral to other programs and future work opportunities. Anderson was one of the students who attended a course at Parks Library. He had previously completed an engineering degree in Columbia, but he was struggling to convey his experience and his changing goals on his new CV. Dreaming of getting his foot in the manufacturing industry in Australia, Anderson found that the course gave him the confidence he needed to create a CV which truly reflected what he wanted to achieve.

'Completing this course has given me the confidence to change my career path. I am looking forward to getting into the industry that I want to work in.'

There are more courses planned throughout the year across various centres and branches. If you need some extra help to take the next step in your career, stay connected via our website for the latest opportunities for you or someone you know.
