Our teams have been using recycled asphalt for approximately five years with the first trial taking place in January 2020 on Fraser Crescent, Wantirna South. Current observations suggest it is performing in line with conventional asphalt products.
Upcoming works using this material include Dorrigo Drive, Boronia, Leonard Street, Bayswater and Wicks Road, The Basin.
We look forward to delivering more projects using this asphalt and investing in other recycled materials to deliver sustainable infrastructure and build a "greener" Knox.
