Burswood Attempted Armed Robbery, WA

Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an attempted armed robbery that occurred in Burswood early this morning, Friday 23 November 2018.


Around 4.30am, a woman entered her vehicle which was parked in a multi-level carpark on Great Eastern Highway. As she was about to close the door, a man approached her armed with a hammer and demanded money. The woman was able to quickly close the door as the vehicle was struck with the hammer.


The man fled on foot towards a small white vehicle which was parked nearby, driving away. This vehicle has since been located by police in Victoria Park.


Police have released images of a man who was seen with the vehicle earlier that they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The man is described as approximately 155cms tall and with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a white mask covering his face.


Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area who may have seen any suspicious persons in the area to contact Crime Stoppers.
