FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 13/09/2023 15:00 hours.

STATUS: BEING CONTROLLED - Effective strategies are in operation or planned for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility. Active fire may occur close to the roadside. Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area. Avoid the area.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Fire crews are still working in the area. Visibility may be impacted by smoke so please drive carefully.

School bus routes 431 and 433 have been re-routed.

Students on Route 431 living on Kentish, Blyth, Livingston and Scrutton Roads will be dropped at the Cox Peninsula bus interchange. The bus will then continue to Acacia Road.

Bus 433 - children on Blyth, Kentish, Livingston and Scrutton Road will need to be collected from Berry Springs Primary School.
