Wonderland on the Murray is coming to Echuca-Moama – and all local businesses are invited to be part of this magical experience running from 13 December 2025 to 9 March 2026.
Jointly delivered by Campaspe Shire Council, Murray River Council and Campaspe Port Enterprise (Port of Echuca), eight amazing Alice in Wonderland-themed sand sculptures will form a trail that will bring elements of Lewis Carroll's classic tale to community members on a grand scale – and Council wants as many businesses as possible to join the journey down the rabbit hole of wonder!
Wonderland on the Murray is an opportunity for our community to showcase its many and varied offerings. Locals and tourists alike can follow the trail through our towns, discovering art, food, fun … and our local businesses too.
Businesses that become involved will have the chance to:
- Be featured in promotional materials
- Attract foot traffic and new customers
- Join in the fun with themed shopfronts, in-store events, or Wonderland-inspired specials
- Show their support for local arts and community tourism.
No business is too big or small to join the adventure – and becoming involved is free, and easy! Businesses can choose to jump right in and go the full Mad Hatter or make it as simple as offering a 'Queen of Hearts' cupcake on a café menu, or anything in between. The choices are endless, and every contribution helps bring the story – and our town – to life.
