Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Byford last night, Monday 15 March 2021.
About 9.45pm, a silver Mitsubishi Lancer sedan travelling on Orton Road collided with a white Holden Commodore sedan travelling on Hopkinson Road at the intersection of both roads. The Mitsubishi Lancer rolled over coming to rest on its roof, trapping the rear passenger.
The passenger, a 34-year-old man received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
The 23-year-old male driver of the Lancer and the 21-year-old male driver of the Commodore were not injured.
