Broome Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in Cable Beach on Sunday 18 August 2019.
Between 7pm and 8.30pm, a 19-year-old woman was walking along Oryx Road, when near Millington Road she was assaulted by unknown person.
Friends of the woman located her about 8.30pm and took her to the Broome Hospital.
The area where the incident occurred is surrounded by various hotels, resorts and caravan parks and detectives wish to speak to anyone who may have seen the woman or any suspicious activity during the above time.
