The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:
Timothy Edwards will become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Latvia. Mr. Edwards will replace Brian Szwarc, and he will take up his appointment in the coming weeks.
Corry van Gaal will become High Commissioner in the Republic of Zambia. Ms. van Gaal will replace Emily Burns, and she will take up her appointment in the coming weeks.
Judith Gelbman will become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary. Ms. Gelbman will replace François Lafrenière, and she will take up her appointment in the coming weeks.
Marcel Lebleu will become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Türkiye. Mr. Lebleu will replace Kevin Hamilton, and he will take up his appointment in the coming weeks.
