The City of Ballarat's Animal Shelter has reached cat-pacity again, with more than 100 cats currently needing to be re-homed.
With so many cats being handed into the shelter every week, staff require more cat food and toys to keep up with the new arrivals.
To ensure the cats are provided the best care while they await their new home, we're calling for donations of wet cat food and small cat toys like balls and toy mice.
Anyone wishing to donate can by dropping off wet cat food or cat toys at the Ballarat Animal Shelter in Gillies Street.

Ballarat residents interested in adopting a kitten or cat are also invited to contact the shelter to find out how, and to meet the numerous kittens and cats currently seeking new homes.
Each adopted kitten and cat will be de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and registered for a year within the Ballarat Municipality.
Ballarat Animal Shelter staff will be on-hand to take potential adoptees through the process of adopting a cat, with the facility also open six days a week.
The City of Ballarat encourages responsible pet ownership by de-sexing cats to reduce the number of kittens being surrendered to the shelter during the breeding season.
Pet owners who de-sex their cats will receive a discount when registering their cat with the City of Ballarat.
