Call for Information - Assault - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged assault which occurred at Charles Darwin National Park on Saturday 27 October.

Around 2:15pm the victim was in the top car park closest towards the Darwin City lookout when she was approached by the alleged offender, Northern Territory Police say.

The male is believed to have assaulted the victim before he was interrupted by an arriving vehicle. The male fled the scene on foot.

He is described as a Caucasian male in his late twenties to early thirties, approximately 172cm tall and of skinny build. He had medium length straight light brown messy hair which was came down to his eyebrows and covered the top half of his ears. He had light brown eyes, thick eyebrows, a skinny face with prominent cheek bones, a pointy nose, thin lips and nil facial hair however he was not clean shaven.

He was wearing knee length light blue denim shorts, a plain blood orange coloured t-shirt, black or dark blue thongs and a watch on his right arm with a thick band.

If anyone has information on this incident and the identity of the male they are urged to notify police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers.
