Artists who live, work or study in Nillumbik – or have strong, ongoing links to the Shire – are invited to apply for the 2020 Eltham Library Community Gallery (ELCG) exhibition program.

This exciting program is open to individual artists, artist groups or organisations and curators interested in having their work exhibited.

Mayor and Economic Development and Marketing portfolio Chair Cr Karen Egan said she hopes the quality and diversity of 2019's ELCG exhibitions continues into 2020.

"Eltham Library Community Gallery provides a wonderful space for artists working in a variety of mediums to exhibit their work," Cr Egan said.

"I strongly encourage those who live, work or play in Nillumbik, as well as those who are otherwise connected to our community, to apply for the 2020 exhibition program, which will be widely celebrated and promoted to locals and visitors alike.

"Whatever medium you work with, this is an unmissable opportunity to bring your art to the community," she said.

Successful applicants will receive generously subsidised gallery hire, insurance, no commission on sales, support with installation and promotion, and inclusion in the annually published exhibition program.

Eltham Library Community Gallery is located in Panther Place, Eltham. Applications for the 2020 exhibition program are open until 25 August.
