FedDev Ontario investment in H2 Analytics Inc. helps advance AI-driven technologies for defence and security companies

Ottawa is home to a globally recognized technology and innovation ecosystem, with a growing concentration of companies developing cutting-edge solutions in defence, security, telecommunications, and advanced digital technologies. Our government is committed to investing in Canadian businesses that are advancing defence and security capabilities, driving innovation, and bringing new technologies to market.

Today, on behalf of the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), the Honourable Mona Fortier, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Ottawa-Vanier-Gloucester, announced an investment of $800,000 for H2 Analytics Inc. to support the company's more than $4.2-million project as it works to address the training needs of defence and security sectors.

Through its AI-driven Exercise Architect Suite (EASE®) platform, the company streamlines the development and deployment of realistic intelligence simulations at scale. The investment will support upgrades to the company's EASE® platform, enhancing functionality, adaptability and use. These improvements will enable users to design and manage more complex training exercises, support multilingual coordination, and improve system performance as operational demands grow. The company will also accelerate expansion into international markets.

By supporting innovation and growth in critical sectors like defence and security, the Government of Canada is helping Canadian companies develop technologies that can strengthen operational effectiveness, support public safety and contribute to job creation and economic growth.
