TheBulla communitys water supply is once again safe to drink.
TheDepartment of Health has lifted the Precautionary Advice for Drinking Water(Boil Water Alert) for Bulla community after samples from the communitys watersupply were confirmed by the government laboratory today as being free of anyharmful bacteria.
Department ofHealth A/Director Environmental Health, Tracy Ward said the Boil Water Alertwas issued on 19 June 2019 as a precautionary response to problems experiencedwith the water disinfection system at Bulla. Power and Water Corporationofficers responded rapidly and initiated a number of measures to ensure thatthe water supply is safe again to drink.
