Guests will be captivated as the award-winning urban parkland at Prahran Square is bathed in the soft glow of candlelight under the stars, and treated to exceptional live performances, showcasing inspiring repertoires from jazz greats and renowned movie soundtrack composers.
Falling on Aretha Franklin's birthday, the first Candlelight Concert at Prahran Square on Saturday 25 March, will feature a tribute to Aretha Franklin and other jazz greats. Be mesmerised by this timely and heart-warming performance with spectacular renditions of Aretha's most popular songs, performed by the Luminosity Trio (Elly Poletti, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Joe McEvilly).
The second Candlelight Concert on Sunday 26 March will feature works from renowned movie soundtrack composers—Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, and John Williams—performed by the Invictus Quartet (Rebecca Wang, Nyssa Sanguansri, Jin Tong Long and Annika Cho), and Eclective Strings (Elly Poletti, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Joe McEvilly).

Candlelight Concerts are a series of original music concerts aimed at democratising access to culture by allowing people worldwide to enjoy live music and candlelit performances played by local musicians in stunning locations illuminated by thousands of candles.
