Police seized nearly 70 cannabis plants after searching a property at Moorabbin this morning.
The Caulfield Divisional Response Unit arrested a 42-year-old Israeli national at the Marrbridge Road address about 9am.
The raid, which was part of an ongoing drug investigation, discovered a sophisticated cannabis hydroponic operation.
Further quantities of cannabis and other drugs were found along with cash alleged to be the proceeds of crime.
The man was charged with various offences including drug trafficking, cultivating narcotic plants and failing to answer bail.
He's due to appear in court at a later date.
