Police in Alyangula, Groote Eylandt are investigating a parcel found to be containing nearly half a kilogram of cannabis.
Drug Detection Dog Bear responded to the item yesterday and upon inspection under a warrant, 463 grams of the illicit drug was located.
It is believed that in this location, this amount of cannabis would yield the supplier approximately $69,450.
