Police are investigating a collision between a car and an ambulance in Adelaide, according to SA Police.
About 10.45pm Tuesday 11 September police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Port Road and North Terrace, after a collision occurred between a Toyota Camry and an ambulance which caused the ambulance to roll onto its side.
The patient and a passenger being transported were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. Thankfully the paramedics and the passenger were not seriously injured. The driver of the Camry was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The male patient remains at the hospital in a serious condition.
Major Crash investigators attended the scene, and traffic was restricted for several hours but all roads have now been reopened.
