Car impounded for street racing, South Australia

A driver was reported for street racing at Salisbury overnight.

It will be alleged police spotted a Holden sedan racing alongside a black sports bike heading south along Salisbury Highway at Salisbury about 12.30am on Monday 27 June.

Patrols lost sight of the motorcycle, which was travelling at speed and without lights.

A patrol pulled over the Holden sedan on Kings Road, Parafield Gardens, just off Salisbury Highway.

The driver, a 22-year-old Paralowie man, was reported for street racing. His car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
