Car into school in Greenacre

Several children have been injured after a car crashed into a school in Greenacre, NSW Police say.

About 9.45am (Tuesday 7 November 2017), emergency services were called to the school on Boronia Road, after a car left the road and crashed into a classroom in which children were taught.

Several children were injured, some seriously.

Police from Bankstown LAC on are on scene, conducting inquiries. A crime scene has been established.

Police are asking parents who wish to collect their children to attend the Boronia Road school entrance.

The female driver of the car has been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.

No further information is available at this stage.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
