Car torched at Clearview, South Australia

Police have arrested two men following the arson of a motor vehicle in Clearview overnight.

Just before 1am Saturday 18 April police and MFS were called to Windsor Avenue after reports a car was on fire in the front yard of a home.

When emergency services arrived the fire had been brought under control by the occupants of the home. But extensive damage was caused to the Holden Commodore.

The victims were not injured but reported seeing two men leaving the scene in a grey 4WD shortly after the fire started.

Just before 5am following an investigation, police attended a home in Enfield where they arrested a 26-year-old Enfield man and a 26-year-old Rostrevor man. Both men are expected to be charged later today.

Police wish to reassure the public that the incident was not random.
