Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public's assistance for information following a fatal crash that occurred in Gosnells on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
About 6.25pm, a woman was walking across George Street near a licensed premise on Blanche Street, when she was struck by a grey Kia Rio hatchback.
The 80-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was given immediate first aid by members of the public and police officers prior to SJA WA paramedics arriving. She was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she later died.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or who saw the Kia Rio hatchback or the pedestrian in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
