Locals are invited to learn about the care and support services available in the city by attending the upcoming free Disability Expo.
The Expo will be held at the Civic Centre on July 26 between 10am-2pm, with over 30 service providers in attendance.
Attendees will be able to chat with staff and volunteers from a variety of organisations, and enjoy food, coffee, and face-painting for kids.
Council's Community Development Coordinator, Rachel Merton, said the event was a great resource for those who require care or support services.
"There are so many service options out there at the moment with the NDIS, and this event can give people a chance to talk to various organisations and see what suits them," said Ms Merton.
"And it's not just for aged or disabled people and carers, there's lots of support and services available in town that can be helpful for people from all walks of life.
"We've got over 30 providers lined up for the day which is great to see, and I want to thank them all for supporting the event and the community."
