A man is due to appear in court today after he allegedly sexually assaulted an 89-year-old woman at an aged-care facility at Picton, NSW Police say.
Officers attached to the Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation after receiving information an elderly woman had been allegedly sexually assaulted by a care worker at the Thirlmere Way facility on Monday 8 October 2018.
Following inquiries, police attended a house in Eschol Park yesterday (Saturday 1 December 2018), and arrested a 59-year-old man.
He was taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with aggravated sexual assault. He was refused bail and is due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 2 December 2018).
