The annual Griffith Carols by Candlelight is scheduled to return on Sunday 14 December 2025, bringing festive cheer to our community at the Griffith Community Gardens. The event begins at 6.15pm, with carols commencing at 7.30pm promising an evening of music and family fun.
Under the creative direction of local musician and performer Hannah Lonergan, the program will showcase a blend of beloved traditional carols and contemporary Christmas favourites. Hannah brings extensive experience in music performance and community engagement and is working closely with the council's Event Management Team to coordinate a vibrant lineup featuring local musicians, schools and community groups.
The night will also include a special visit from Santa, live performances, a lineup of food and drinks from a range of local vendors – including Avanti Rotary Griffith, Frankies by Romeo's, MK Delights, Kiara's Kitchen, Pota Pasta, Tornado Potatoes, Roadies Donuts, Chera Patisserie, Mrs Whippy and Peeches Coffee and will finish with a festive fireworks display at 9.30 pm, proudly sponsored by Griffith Real Estate.
This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event and all are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic rugs or chairs, and to come prepared to join in singing and celebration.
