Police are investigating following the seizure of a significant amount of cash from a vehicle at Eight Mile Plains yesterday.

A station wagon was intercepted by police on the Pacific Motorway around 8.30am.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered $4.35 million in cash notes stacked inside a suitcase and a box.

The alleged driver of the vehicle, a 37-year-old Strathpine man, was charged with receiving tainted property and was due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning (July 8).
