Midland Detectives have arrested two men following their investigation into a series of offences committed in Greenwood, Ellenbrook, Wembley and Claremont during May 2017.
Police will allege that during the incidents the offenders forced entry to homes and stole vehicles, cash and property. During one of the incidents, the offenders made threats to the occupants of a house while armed with a firearm., WA Police say
On Tuesday 6 June 2017, officers from the Midland Detectives Office executed a search warrant in Cockburn which resulted in a 22 year old man being arrested in relation to their investigation. A second person was arrested after police located and seized a bag which contained $122,900 cash.
Proceeds of Crime Squad detectives commenced an investigation to establish the owner of the cash. As a result of that investigation a freezing notice has been served pending the outcome of the court process.
