Catani cricket nets officially open

The new Catani cricket nets are officially open.

Cardinia Shire Council contributed $92,000 to the project, and the Victorian Government provided $90,000 as part of its Community Cricket Program.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Tammy Radford and Cardinia Shire's Westernport Ward Councillor Kaye Cameron officially opened the nets at Catani Recreation Reserve with Member for Bass Jordan Crugnale MP and representatives of the Catani sporting community.

The new cricket nets include a 4-lane, enclosed cricket net facility with black powder coating PVC mesh fence and multipurpose 4 bay synthetic wickets.
