Catholic Super is proud of its long-term performance which has seen the ‘Balanced’ (MySuper) option – deliver members an average investment return that has exceeded 10% per annum over 48 years since its inception in 1971.
Superannuation remains a long-term proposition and this needs to be kept in mind as members choose their investment strategies, not short-term returns. Catholic Super is a top fund in the rolling five-year period as listed in the SuperRatings survey of 50 funds investing in the Balanced option. We have also delivered top returns at lower levels of risk. On a risk/return basis, over 7 years to 30 June 2019 Catholic Super delivered the following outcomes:
- Aggressive Option ranked number 1 of 25 funds
- Moderately Aggressive Option ranked number 2 of 50 funds
- Balanced Option ranked number 7 of 50 funds
- Conservative Balanced Option ranked number 2 of 50 funds
- Conservative Option ranked number 3 of 50 funds
In addition, Roy Morgan’s latest 6-month survey that polls super members for satisfaction with their fund’s financial performance, placed Catholic super as a top two Australian fund.
